Ruto

After a long break with this series, here it is, the new sage, Ruto. I remember her being a pain in the ass in the game. I have vivid memories of boredom when having to carry her for the entire Jabu Jabu’s Belly. And she was also a pervert >_< (gotta love japanese games).

Her design is very interesting but to do it realistically can turn out to be quite bizarre. Her head has an exceptionally unique shape, that can be quite tricky to do.  One thing i naturally added and then after removed was bubbles. Too much references of people underwater makes you forget how fish live on their enviroment. Eventhough she has a nose….anyway. I decided to do her under the water instead of out. Underwater prooved to be quite a challenge, you don’t see that much of the classic overhighlighted wet skin highlights, and lightning itself behaves in a very different manner. The light spreads, and can be quite hard to preview. Don’t know if i achieved that with sucess, but it was good resuming this fanart series. Now to the other sages!
